Magic Guainia
Guainía is one of the most biodiverse departments in Colombia, as much for its culture and tradition as for its fauna and flora. It is strategically located between the Amazon, the Orinoquia and the Guyanese Shield. In addition, a large part of its tourist attractions are found in the indigenous reservations within which we can highlight one of the most representative of the region, the Cerros de Mavicure, a set of monoliths located two hours from the Municipality of Inírida. The three hills are called: Cerro Pajarito, Cerro Mavicure and Cerro Mono, whose names in the Puinave indigenous language are wiibirig ween, maicuri ween and buu Ween respectively. Visitors can also enjoy the experience touring the Inírida Fluvial star where the Inírida, Guaviare, Atabapo and Orinoco rivers, in the summer season (December, January, February, March and April) a beautiful setting is observed with landscapes of beaches, savannahs and streams, special for rest and bird watching from different walking trails.
